What a joyful morning in Jubilee Square!
After the joyous worship, which included some spontaneous dancing on the Jerusalema song, we started off with testimonies. We always give ample time for testimonies.
Testimonies bring hope. If God can do it for him. . . Revelation 12:11 says: “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.”
But testifying also builds confidence and train people to share freely and before others. Today, something small of what God did for me. Tomorrow, with more boldness, scripture, or a revelation received from God. And soon, they start flowing in their gifts and teaching and ministering to one another! And that excites us! Because that is our vision - to activate them to flow in their own gifts and functions. To spontaneously be church, to one another.
Today, we were once again blessed with some beautiful testimonies. Two of our brothers testified of their new journey with God, following their baptism in the park the week before. It is so wonderful to see the change in them. Truly, the work of the Holy Spirit through healing and deliverance!
One brother testified that “everything changed on my body after my baptism last week”. He experienced healing and proclaimed that he now can run 100 kilometers!
We were also blessed with someone that composed and sang a song specifically for all of us at Street Church!
We are thankful to those who have contributed towards this special day. Not only could we feed around 100 people, but we could also bless each one of them with a gift pack. This included some treats but also some basic items like a face cloth, soap, nail clipper, vaseline tub, razor, and a pair of socks.
We truly hope and believe that each person has experienced the manifestation of God’s love today. When they feel loved, it becomes so much easier to cast out the lie of the enemy, that they are worthless. And then to restore the Truth; that they are precious, loved by Jesus (and us) and created with a purpose to fulfill in this world! They too, are called to bring heaven to earth and glorify God!
John 13:34-35 - “So I give you now a new commandment: Love each other just as much as I have loved you. For when you demonstrate the same love I have for you by loving one another, everyone will know that you’re my true followers.”
