Baptism Service in Jubilee Square, Sunnyside

“Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” – Acts 2:38

On 6 November, we had our first dual Street Church service in Pretoria CBD – the second venue at Jubilee Square in Sunnyside. God really expedited spiritual growth and we had a request for baptism last week.

Today was our seventh week in Jubilee Square, Sunnyside. And we baptised 7 brothers into the body of Christ! Interesting that THE JUBILEE is the year of the end of seven cycles and according to the book of Leviticus, Hebrew slaves and prisoners would be freed, debts would be forgiven, and the mercies of God would be particularly manifested. Today’s baptism was symbolic of exactly that – people being set free, through their debts that’s been paid by the blood of Jesus, so that the Lord’s mercies and glory can be manifested!

This was such an anointed and glorious morning! We praise God for the number of testimonies of His goodness and manifestation in people’s lives! Bryan testified that someone prayed for him weeks ago. And today, he testified that he quit smoking and it is now 3 weeks already that he abstained from smoking! There was such powerful intercession against addictions – we have a great expectation for so much more testimonies to come!

We were praying for more harvesters throughout the year and God blessed us with the most amazing younger generation team that joins us now on a regular basis. One of them truly have an anointing for videography and filmmaking. In fact, it is his dream to use this gift to show the world the love of the Father in tangible, authentic ways through visual expression!
